Do you know which penis filler you are getting ?

Consultation with a Qualified Urologist Ask About the Filler Brand and Type Request to See the Product Packaging Check for Approvals Review Consent Forms Ask About hyalase treatment Research the Filler

Knowing which penis filler you are receiving is crucial for your safety and to ensure that you achieve the desired results. Here are several steps you can take to know which dermal filler you are getting:

1.Consultation with a Qualified Urologist:

Schedule a consultation with a GMC Specialist registered Urologist

During the consultation, discuss your goals, concerns, and what you are looking to achieve in terms of penis size, with dermal fillers.

Ask your Urologist to explain the different types of fillers available, their ingredients, and their intended uses.

2.Ask About the Filler Brand and Type:

Before the procedure begins, ask your Urologist to specify the brand and type of dermal filler they plan to use.

There are various brands of dermal fillers available, each with different formulations suited for different purposes (e.g., adding volume, smoothing lines, enhancing contours).

Not all Hyaluronic acids last the same amount of time. Usually deep tissue fillers, or volumisers , are used in the penis. These have greater longevity than fillers used in the lips for example. Be sure that you know what you are getting.

3.Request to See the Product Packaging:

Urologists typically have the dermal filler product packaging on hand.

You can ask to see the box or packaging of the filler to verify the brand, product name, and batch number.

This allows you to confirm the authenticity of the product and ensure that it matches the information provided by the Urologist.

Some clinics use their brand name as the name of the filler. We now no longer do this because we believe that patients need to know the name of the filler itself. Only then is there true transparency. If you see a clinic marketing a filler under their own brand name, ask exactly what the true filler brand is first.

4.Check for Approvals:

In the United Kingdom you will find that most fillers are CE marked. If they are not be very wary. Ask your Urologist about the CE marking of the filler intended to be used in your penis enlargement.

5.Review Consent Forms:

Before the procedure, you will likely be asked to sign consent forms.

Take the time to read through these forms carefully, as they should include information about the specific filler being used, its potential side effects, and risks.

Ask any questions you may have before signing the forms. At Moorgate Andrology these consent forms are sent to you ahead of the procedure so you have time to read them at your own leisure. Many patients have further questions after reading the consent form. Be careful of clinics who ask you to sign them just before your treatment, You should be given time to read through the document before the treatment starts. You should not feel rushed to sign under any circumstances.

6.Ask About hyalase treatment:

Some hyaluronic acid fillers have reversal agents available in case of complications or dissatisfaction with the results.

Ask the Urologist if they have a reversal agent on hand, such as hyaluronidase, and if it is appropriate for the filler being used. Note that if your filler is being mixed with PLLA or PMMA it might not be an appropriate treatment to remove lumps and bumps.

Knowing this information can provide peace of mind in case of any unexpected outcomes.

7.Research the Filler:

If you are interested in a specific filler brand or type, consider doing some research beforehand.

Look up information about the filler, its ingredients, duration of results, and potential side effects.

This knowledge can help you have informed discussions with your provider and ensure that the filler aligns with your goals.

Be wary of clinics that offer to mix filler with PLLA or PMMA. Mixing hyaluronic acid filler with collagen stimulating injections can cause complications whereby lump and bump formations can be very difficult to treat. PLLA and PMMA is not the same as hyaluronic acid.

8.Take a look at Before-and-After Photos:

Request to see before-and-after photos of patients who have received the same filler.

This can give you a visual idea of the potential results and the provider's skill with the specific filler.

Most clinics will have before and after photos on their websites , showcasing similar treatments. Bear in mind  when looking at penis enlargement before and after photos that results vary from patient to patient,  and not everyone is starting with the same penis size in terms of length or girth

9.Trust Your Instincts and Ask Questions:

If you have any doubts or concerns about the filler being used, don't hesitate to ask questions.

A reputable and experienced Urologist will be open to answering your questions and addressing any concerns.

Trust your instincts and only proceed with the treatment if you feel comfortable and confident in the provider and the filler being used.

A least make sure that you know the actual brand of the filler. Make sure that your Doctor is on the GMC Specialist register for Urology. This is your assurance of being treated by a specialist in male genital procedures and conditions.
